Metalico Flex iPhone Casing
This flexicurve iPhone cover is from Singtel shop and cost $19.90.
However, the quality is not up to standard. The casing actually melted when I charged it next to my laptop where the battery is only slightly heated up.

Review of Secret Magic double sided double eyelids tape
Secret Magic Double sided eyelids tape costs $4.50 from sasa. There are 26 pairs and an applicator. It is a Korean brand.
If you are an experienced user of double eyelids tape, it is considered quite easy to apply.
Just remember do not remove the white cover tape before applying the tape to the eyelid.
The double side tape together with the white cover must be removed together and 'paste' on eyelid before removing the white part. Else the tape may be difficult to handle as a straight piece and curl up.
The sticker is pretty strong and can last a full day. At the end of the day, I still need to use some skill to remove it and use makeup remover to clean the glue on my eyelids. Just facial wash alone is not enough.
Gentle reminder - This applicator tool is a bit rough, do be careful when apply on the skin as it may caused some pain if you are apply too much force ^_^

Another long haul trip in the pipleline
The family is planning for another long haul trip to the States.
We are undecided over Chicago city touristy stuff or Washington and North Caroline road trip. The latter will need a longer period and we are limited by the school holiday time period.
We planned to book the air tickets, hotels and car rentals way before to lock in the travel time as it is a peak travel period.
Finally the itinerary looks like this
SIN-NRT-ATL -- GRR // ORD-NRT-SIN
Even with 7 months advance planning, I still could not get good deal on Singapore Airlines. So I finally opt for Delta which is by the way the little prince favorite too.
The ticket cost by Delta is 30% cheaper overall. Moreover we do not need to worry over domestic flights connection timing. More importantly, I booked extra legroom for the tall men (1.81m & still growing) on these long haul flight which are not overly pricey.
The only difference between SQ and Delta is the F&B service. It is not really that important to us anyway.
For example, the last trip to the States on SQ, we totally missed night time serving of the snacks, chocolate, fruits etc as they carried so little quantity of it, by the time we are awake and hungry, they ran out of snacks. So like Delta, we just eat the standard meal servings. SQ will be good for travellers who stay up throughout the flight as you get free flow of food and drink.

Review of KissMe Double eyelids tape
After throwing away the glue stick. I make do with those one-side double eyelids tape for a while. I decided to try my luck again and bought this at Watson.
It costs $16.90 to start with. A bit steep as I cant tell how many pieces were there.
The verdict is I will not waste money to buy this ever again.
Reasons:
1) the tape stuck to the white portion instead of the clear base when removing to use, making it totally difficult to remove after that. So i usually waste at least 1 a day.
2) the tape cannot stay in shape, it get longer and longer as I try to remove the white portion, making it totally non-usable.
3) the edge of the tape will be non-sticky after using the tool provided to place on the eyelids and it will protrude out from the side.
4) it cant last more than 5 hours
5) the tape is not strong enough to fold the eyelids after sometimes.
Verdict: OUT!

Wang Cafe card
You do not need to spend money to BUY this card. Whatever value you topup is for your use. There is no discount in purchase as discount is given up front when you top up the card.
For example, when you top up $20, you get $22 value in your card to use. It is like a 10% discount.
Note: NTUC Union members get more discount.

Food Junction Discount Card
Throughout the last 10 years, Food Junction has introduced a couple of discount cards. This should the the third generation.
Previously, the card cost $2 and $10 respectively and can be bought at the management office.
The latest Food Junction card as shown is a NETS FlashPay card. First you need to purchase this card for $12 which include a $7 value and 3 free drinks (piped in coke) from Food Junction.
I believed Nets FlashPay card has its expiry date (5-7 years) and once expired it is no longer able to use. You top up the card and use it at the stalls and 10% discount applies.
If you eat at Food Junction often, it is still a worthwhile buy. My only complaint is I will to carry all discount cards with me. It only they can develop a cardless system.

Kopitiam Discount Card
I remember initially it was free to purchase. Later when it expired, I need to pay $2 to reactivate it. But I would considered it as a worth while investment. On the last count, there are 75 outlets which accept the card as payment. In Singapore, it is so easy to go to a Kopitiam for your lunch or dinner. So if you didn't want to bring your wallet for a meal, you can actually just bring this card out for a quick meal. It is so easy and simple.
It gives you a 10% discount on all non-promotional items. So the $2 is easily 'earned' back.
